I started out as a Paramedic 10+ years ago, then I became a mom. I choose to continue to help people from the other side of medicine. So here I am 10+ years later helping people become healthy and less dependent on medications through fitness and nutrition.
I've always been an athlete. In sports through high school then on into my professional life as a Paramedic and working on Yosemite National Parks Search and Rescue team. Then life changed and I became a mom. Working crazy hours needed to change so I chose to be a mom and I still love it to this day. The most rewarding job I have ever had. After being a mom I missed the adrenaline rush of my other jobs. I found it in CrossFit. That feel of excitement and accomplishment came from workouts now. I love getting a chance to go one on one against a tough workout and come out the winner in the end. I also love coaching and seeing members accomplish things that they never thought possible. Climbing a rope, getting their first pull up or just lifting a load of weight that they though was undo able.
My purpose for coaching is to show women and men that they can do anything they put their mind too. It can be physical or nutritional goal that we have set together. I love getting a member/athlete to accomplish something they never thought possible.
